these competitions and enter the ones in the areas where you excel.
Do you really want to miss the opportunity to be "The Best of the Best" in the gravure industry? You can't win if you don't enter! - The competition is open to all GAA members and non-members. Entries must be produced during the 2006 calendar year and must use the gravure process. Entries must be production units against an order, except for the supplier innovation category. Help promote the gravure process and provide peer recognition for technical achievement. The competition is designed to identify the "Best of the Best" in each segment of the industry and to distinguish technical innovations. Choose from any one or more of (30) categories. We are sure there will be a category that fits your business!
Submission Deadline February 9, 2007! Click for brochure & entry form.
Do you have a new product that could revolutionize the printing
industry? How do you plan on proving to printers that this is a
product they need? The Graphic Arts Technical Foundation
(GATF) can help. The InterTech Award, sponsored
by GATF, offers an opportunity to raise the profile of your product.
For more than 25 years, this award has been recognized as an indicator
of which technologies will most likely have a major impact on the
industry and become successful in the marketplace within the next
five years. Each year the media and industry anxiously await to
hear which new technologies receive the award. In order to submit
a nomination, the technology must be beyond beta testing and available
in the marketplace, but not yet in widespread use. You do not have
to be a GATF/PIA member to apply for the award. GATF works closely
with award recipients and provides several marketing tools to help
you alert prospects and customers that your technology is among
the best in the business. For more information about the award,
please visit
our website. You can also download
a copy of the nomination/application form.
The
Women's Venture Fund, Inc. (WVF), a nonprofit providing
mentoring, training and micro-loan services to underserved women
growing their own small businesses, is calling for nominations for
our new national awards program, the Highest Leaf Award,
honoring up to four senior-level women each year, who have demonstrated
outstanding courage, creativity and entrepreneurial skill in their
business or professional endeavors. For more information on the
nomination process and sponsorship, please go to Highest
Leaf Award.
WMPKG does not endorse these competitions. This sampling is
